Pastor Jack was raised in a Catholic home and attended parochial schools from elementary through high school. At the age of 18 he attended a home bible study hosted in the home of a friend’s parents and gave his life to Jesus Christ. From that evening in August of 1972 the Lord begin to prepare his heart for full-time ministry.

Pastor Jack served as an assistant pastor for 5 years before following the calling of the Lord to plant a church in Whittier, California and on April 21st, 1985 Morningstar Christian Chapel was born by the grace of God. Over the years as the Word of God was taught, Morningstar has become home to 1000’s of people. The church has had the opportunity to plant other churches, send out missionaries and maintain a radio ministry, Growing Thru Grace that can be heard throughout the United States on hundreds of stations.

Pastor Jack’s gift of teaching is clearly seen in the easy yet relevant way he communicates the Word of God. Paying close attention to context, Jack resorts to biblical examples to teach principles in an expository way, focusing, explaining and applying the Scriptures by looking at the intent, meaning, and context of each passage. With verse by verse and book by book instruction, Pastor Jack firmly believes that God’s Word will never go out void but will always accomplish whatever God sends it for (Isa.55:10-13). Pastor Jack is dedicated to the plain exposition of God’s Word. His desire is that those who hear his messages might turn to the God who loves them and His only Son, Jesus Christ, who He sent to save them from their sins.

Pastor Jack has been married to his wife Debbie for over 40 years and Debbie is active in ministry serving the ladies of the church, discipling high school and college girls regularly, and authoring Inductive Bible Studies Workbooks through many books of the Bible that are used by men and women’s groups across the country. Pastor Jack has authored several books as well, including The Jesus Chronicles, an exhaustive study through the Gospels in chronological order. Sandy Adams is senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain in Atlanta, Georgia. The church started in 1980 with Sandy, his wife Kathy, and five single adults. Over the years the Lord has blessed Calvary Chapel with solid and steady growth. God has used the church and Pastor Sandy to disciple believers in Jesus, and spread His love and truth around the world.

Sandy is a native of Atlanta. He and his wife, Kathy, are the parents of four children. Zach is an assistant pastor at CCSM. Natalie teaches High School. Nick graduated from UGA with a turf science degree. And Mack is currently a student at Augusta State. Sandy is also an avid sports fan.

Sandy graduated from Georgia State University. He also attended Calvary Chapel Bible College. He has authored seven books: Welcome to the Family of God, Chapter By Chapter, Christmas through the Eyes, Family Matters, Kid Gloves, The Drama of Christmas, and the internet Bible Commentary, Bible Scan.

Pastor Ron spent the first 39 years of his life running away from Jesus Christ. Finally, on February 17, 1991, while running away from home because of the shame of admitting his sins to his wife and 2 children (Ronnie & Terry), he fell to his knees on a public street in Upland, California. From that day forward, his life has never been the same!

Ron grew up in Southern California in a middle-class home in the late ’60s and early ’70s, when the hippie culture was booming. While in college, Ron met his wife, Paula. They were married on September 16, 1972. With the added responsibility of marriage and his first son on the way, Ron found his first full-time job selling cars and quickly became successful. This led to a 21-year career in the automobile industry, which culminated in Ron’s partial ownership of a Nissan dealership in Ontario, California.

In 1988, Ron’s grandmother and mother, both believers, passed away. That was followed by the loss of his business as a result of gambling. After losing his fortune, Ron’s family was evicted from their home. This was during his youngest son’s senior year in high school. Finally, without hope, Ron tried to run away. God is so gracious; Ron was only able to get a block away when the power of the Holy Spirit dropped him to the ground. He didn’t know anything about Jesus, except that his wife, who had been praying for him for 13 years, found joy during the years Ron made her life a living hell. He cried out for the Jesus Paula knew! That was the beginning of a beautiful relationship with God!

Calvary Chapel of San Antonio began when God spoke to Ron’s heart on March 4, 1994, saying, “Begin to pray for the people of San Antonio.” Although he and Paula had never been to Texas, never wanted to go to Texas, and knew no one in Texas, God’s call was unmistakable. After graduating from Calvary Chapel Bible College, Ron, Paula, and their 14-year old dog, Moto, headed for Texas in a truck that cost $1. The first home Bible study took place on May 31, 1995.

Our ministry has now expanded in ways which can only be described as miraculous. South Texas is responding to simple, verse-by-verse Bible teaching by falling more in love with Jesus every day!

No one would be more surprised than John Vernon McGee at the worldwide response to his country preaching, with simple ways and endearing mannerisms. We honor Dr. McGee’s courage to answer God’s call, but we give God the glory for the generations of lives changed through the preaching of His Word.

Pastor Ron Dozler and his wife, Wendi, moved here from Napa, CA where Pastor Ron was on staff as the Youth Pastor at Cornerstone Ministries of Napa Valley (a Calvary Chapel affiliate). In April of 2002 Pastor Ron started flying back and forth from CA to Myrtle Beach every other Saturday to have Bible studies in the local high school.

Then in July 2002, Pastor Ron moved his family here to Myrtle Beach and started a Saturday night service in the Kroger supermarket community room. As the fellowship started to grow on Saturday night, Pastor Ron felt the need to begin a Sunday morning service. From the supermarket, CCMB moved to an old, run down denominational church just blocks from the beach. It was clear after 6 months that the building was undersized for the growing children’s ministry and Adult ministry.

In June of 2003 CCMB took over a storefront space in the Big Deals Flea Market, and was now centrally located where everyone had equal driving distance. During that summer, CCMB started to discover that there were a lot of people from all over that were on vacation here in Myrtle Beach who wanted to find a Bible teaching Church or more specifically a Calvary Chapel.

After launching our web site in the fall of 2003, CCMB saw a great number of these tourists joining us week in and week out. It continues to be a great blessing for us here at CCMB to be able reach out and let people know that they are welcome here and that we have safe pastures in which to feed from.

As before we started to feel the pressure of a small building and in July of 2004 we expanded yet again. This time we tripled our space, adding more room for the children and increasing the sanctuary to seat around 160. Lord willing, this will be enough for the next two years. If not, God will lead us to move and build again.

In January 2005 we added a forth child to the mix, and it wasn’t a boy. Hannah was a huge supprise to us, because we thought that we were having another boy, But God’s humor is great, In 2007 we had our fifth child Rachel. We now have three boys 2 girls.

During the construction location number 4 in April 2008, Pastor Ron fell from the roof unto the concrete stoop below. Crushing his right heal. Pastor Ron spent the next 6 months recovering, but praise the Lord he is able to walk again and is looking forward to going back to the mission field to strengthen the Pastors on the Island of Maurtitius. During Pastor Ron’s stay in the hospital someone took this photo, which shows that not only does Pastor Ron teach the Bible but also from time to time battles the forces of evil.

In May 2011 CCMB took another step of faith and took over an abandoned charter school building. The Lord has been very gracious to us when it comes to buildings. Our current building has some land and a larger room for our sanctuary.

In May 2012 the church leadership stepped out once again to plant a new church in the city of Florence, SC. This church is located about 90 min. away, and is good to see chapter by chapter teaching reaching this area. In May 2015 Pastor Ron handed off the CC Florence Church to BJ Vereen who is now the Senior Pastor.

This year 2014 Calvary Chapel takes a new step of faith with it’s approval of a low power fm radio station. WXMB will service around a 7 mile radius in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas. Please cont. to pray for this outreach into our community. Visit the station web site for more info.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia as the son of a single parent. My mother was a hard-working woman who managed to send my brother and me to Catholic school. However, at the age of nine, I began a life that revolved around the use of drugs. Through elementary and high school, I used drugs every day, even to the point of going to school under the influence. Although I attended a Catholic school until age 16, I never saw the need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I was expelled from a Catholic high school and attended public school for my last two years. By the grace of God, I graduated on time.

In 1979, I joined the U.S. Navy and became a hospital corpsman, but for the first three years, I continued to use drugs. I was ordered to attend drug rehab, which I successfully completed under false pretenses. On January 23, 1982, I was invited to a church revival by a street preacher, who I came across on a Saturday morning. To ensure that I attended the revival, the preacher suggested that he follow me throughout the day until the revival that evening.

I tried to help him understand that it was not a good idea. Unknown to him, I wasn’t planning to go to the revival; I wanted to party and get high with my friends who were just like me. So I tried to get rid of him, but was unsuccessful.

That night during the revival, I was sitting in the pew and I heard the preacher say, “If there is one who would desire to give their life to Jesus Christ, get out of your seat and come down the aisle.” The Holy Spirit lifted me out of my seat, and I went down that aisle and gave my heart to Jesus Christ.

I was changed, new, born again and finally free. Free from sin, free from drugs, free from the bondage and chains that were holding me. My life was different. I saw the world through different eyes. And the same day I gave my life to Jesus, I met a lovely woman who would become my wife.

After accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I was shipped off to Okinawa, Japan, and stationed with the Marine Corps. In 1990, I received orders to serve in Operation Desert Storm and went to El Jubal, Saudi Arabia. Upon arrival, we were placed in an airplane hangar with 2,000 other Navy and Marine service members. I remember placing my seabag alongside my cot, grabbing my Bible and standing on a trashcan yelling out, “In 30 minutes I’ll be teaching a Bible study at the light post, anybody want join me?” I was surprised: 40 men and women joined me in my first Bible Study in Saudi Arabia. I continued to teach God’s Word every day for the duration of my duty there.

Through a special program in 1992, I left active duty after 13 years of service. My wife, Elvira, and I began serving in Calvary Chapels in Southern California. In 1995 we were called to move to North Carolina, where we began a Bible study with 17 people…which would grow quickly to become Calvary Chapel Cary. Here it is, 20+ years later…and the Lord continues to be faithful!

One of my favorite quotes is “I’m just a nobody, trying to tell everybody, about Somebody, who can change anybody.” I’m a witness and a living testimony. What He’s done for me, He can do for you.

Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia began in 1981 when Pastor Joe Focht started a small Bible study in a catering hall. With a strong emphasis on teaching God’s Word verse by verse, the church has grown to minister to approximately 12,000 people weekly with a variety of outreaches and ministries.

Bill and his wife Cindy have been married for over 42 years and they have three grown children, and eight grandchildren. Bill enjoys various outdoor activities such as riding his motorcycle, camping, and working in the yard with his wife. His greatest hobby is reading the Word of God.

Pastor Ron Hindt is the senior pastor at Calvary Houston. Born and raised in southern California, he spent several years as a rock musician in the Hollywood/LA area. Pancho is well known in his community as a local “son gone awry,” only to reappear later on as a compassionate person, changed. In 1990, this new person returned to his hometown of his high school days, and decided to start a home-fellowship in a duplex home on California street. Immediately this fellowship expanded as Pancho was disposed to reach to the down-and-outs, the outcasts, and those who were basically tired of a deep-cultured, dead-religion. Having served his country during the height of the Vietnam era, Pancho received his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps. Upon his military release, he immersed into a fast and dark, moral digression — “Trying to make up for the years I missed,” he would quip. Alcoholism (like his father and brother) and drugs were killing him softly.

After a personal tragedy, Pancho was altered and maimed emotionally for life. Alcoholism, chemical dependency, along with the ravages of mental and emotional anguish compounded his newest encounter with abandonment, loneliness, and rejection:his longtime girlfriend dropped him for another man — Jesus Christ.


A year later Pancho was invited by his former girlfriend, now a Christian, Millie, to a “rock” concert. The year was 1975. The rock concert was held at Costa Mesa Calvary Chapel, a church! Although upset and angry, Pancho listened intently as he heard for the first time the clear message of Jesus Christ. Convicted and broken by such powerful truths, he walked forward to receive the Lord as his personal Lord and savior. A year later, in the very denominational church that was to become his home fellowship for four years, Pancho and Millie were married. Unable to read English properly, Pancho was asked to read scriptures one evening after his conversion during a home-bible study. Soon everyone in the group discovered the deep secret he held for many cruel years. Pancho later confessed and avowed that “If God could help him to read, he would serve Jesus forever!”

After an awakened desire to go to college, he graduated in 1980 from East Los Angeles College, majoring in Business Administration. And true to God’s unfailing promises, Pancho was now a prolific reader and reading soon became his new found joy, even to the present time. It was time for Pancho to fulfill his own promise. In the fall of 1979, Pancho and Millie, expecting twins, decided to attend a local Calvary Chapel in West Covina, California, pastored by a gentleman named Raul Ries.


It was here where Pancho received most of his biblical servanthood and training. Involved in many of the church ministries for eleven years, he was asked by pastor Raul to join the echelons of church leadership. In 1989 the divine clarion call to go back to his youth hometown was received and acknowledged. Receiving the pastoral right hand of fellowship, his venture began as he returned to Montebello to start a home-fellowship.

Two years later the home-fellowship, now well over two hundred members, had moved to a larger facility, a community building aptly named Taylor Ranch, a converted barn. A short year later, the church made a bold, innovative move: Sunday morning services in the local high school auditorium. On July 12, 1992, Calvary Chapel Montebello was officially a church. Pastor Raul Ries provided the dedication message on that special day.

In July of 1995 the church made yet another daring turn. They moved to a 98,000 sq.ft. building, formerly a warehouse.


By now the congregation consisted of eight hundred adults. Two years later, on August 1997, something so huge, and supernatural occurred: the building became the property of Calvary Chapel Montebello. The congregation purchased the entire property! The church is now ministering to more than 3,000 adults and 1000 children. There is always a church-activity going on each day of the week.


Pancho continues to share his straight-ahead, straight-up style of teaching. While he is still going through the divine refinement process, and lacking polished public-speaking abilities, he nevertheless will not shy away from these impediments, and will exploit any opportunity given to share the message of Christ any place, anywhere.

“Changed By Love” is the Radio Teaching Ministry of Calvary Chapel Morris Hills located in the heart of Morris County NJ.

Jim Keavney is the founding and senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Morris Hills, Dover, NJ. Jim is the featured speaker on the Bible teaching program “Changed By Love.” His goal is to teach the Bible with simplicity and passion as well as a direct application to our daily lives.

Jim is a later life convert, who received a later life call to the ministry after many years in the business world. He has been blessed to see the Lord create several businesses, a church, and even a radio station from nothing. Originally from Long Island, Jim lives in NJ with his beautiful wife Pam and their three great kids.

When describing his conversion, Jim simply says, “I was Changed By Love.”

Pastor Damian committed his life to the Lord in 1980 at Calvary Chapel Napa California at the age of 25. He had previously been employed as a cable splicer with the phone company. His family moved from Napa to Modesto in June of 1985 to plant a Calvary Chapel there. In the years since a vibrant fellowship has grown and now serves and loves the surrounding Modesto community in the name of Jesus Christ. Damian is married to his wife Karin. They have two children, Tyler and Morgan.

Kyle’s emphasis in ministry is upon making mature disciples of Jesus Christ as commanded in the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 through the method described in Acts 2:42: by continuing steadfastly in teaching God’s Word, in fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Kyle believes that when the emphasis of the church becomes what God wants it to be, then He will add to the church daily such as should be saved as Acts 2:47 declares.

In 1990, Laurie began holding large-scale public evangelistic events called Harvest Crusades. Since that time, more than 7.9 million people have participated in Harvest Crusades events in person or online around the United States. In 2012, Laurie launched Harvest America, a nationwide event using the internet to simulcast live HD video to thousands of locations across the country. With an unprecedented 306,000 Americans in live attendance, Harvest America ranks among the largest presentations of the gospel in US history. Harvest Crusades have also been held internationally in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. More importantly, some 506,644 people have made professions of faith through these outreaches.

Laurie is the featured speaker of the nationally syndicated radio program, A New Beginning, which is broadcast on more than 800 radio outlets around the world.

Laurie has a weekly television program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, and he has appeared on many other television news programs. Along with his work at Harvest Ministries, Laurie served as the 2013 Honorary Chairman of the National Day of Prayer, and also serves on the board of directors of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He holds honorary doctorates from Biola University and Azusa Pacific University.

In addition to speaking and assisting other ministries, Laurie has authored over 70 books including Johnny Cash: The Redemption of an American Icon, Jesus Revolution, Steve McQueen: The Salvation of an American Icon, Live Love Fight, Tell Someone, The New Believer’s Bible, Hope for Hurting Hearts, and his autobiography, Lost Boy. The accompanying documentary film, Lost Boy: The Next Chapter, as well as the film Hope for Hurting Hearts, have won several awards at international film festivals. His most recent film, Steve McQueen: American Icon, features the story of the famed actor finding salvation in Christ.

Greg has been married to Cathe Laurie for more than 40 years and they have two sons: Christopher and Jonathan. Greg and Cathe also have five grandchildren.

Pastor Dave Love grew up in San Diego, California, where he spent most of his time on the beach while pursuing his own worldly view of success as an insurance and security agent. Eventually, God got his attention through a series of life-changing events, and Dave once again submitted his life to the Person of Jesus Christ in April of 1988.

Once he had recommitted his life to Christ, Dave decided to attend Horizon Christian Fellowship. Soon after, he began to serve in the body of Christ by becoming a volunteer in the high school ministry. Over the next 3 years, he saw the youth group grow from 30 kids to over 500.As the ministry continued to grow, Dave felt called to quit his job and join the youth ministry staff full time in September of 1989. While serving in this capacity, Dave met his beautiful bride, Mindi. On January 19th, 1991, they were married. That same year, Dave became an intern pastor at Horizon, then an associate pastor, overseeing the college and career ministries.

In the Spring of 1993, Dave felt that God was calling him to go to Denver, Colorado, so in May of 1994, Dave and Mindi, along with their one-year-old daughter Katie, traded the sun and sand for the mountains and prairies of Colorado. They planted another Horizon Christian Fellowship in Littleton. The church started out as a mid-week Bible study consisting of 10 people, but just as Dave watched the youth ministry grow back in San Diego, he was captivated by the way God continued to provide for Horizon in Littleton. Over time, Horizon Christian Fellowship continued strengthening its outreach, providing multiple services on Sundays and many other ministries throughout the week, to meet the needs of the community. Not only did God bolster Dave’s new ministry, but He also blessed Dave with two more daughters, Mollie and Jaynie, in addition to a son, Joshua.

Though reluctant to leave the church he had started in Littleton, Dave felt called to Pastor a church in Castle Rock, so in February of 2011, he faithfully followed God and left Horizon Christian Fellowship for Calvary Chapel Castle Rock. Since he has taken on this new role, Dave was invited to meet with local pastors on a weekly basis to pray for and impact the community of Castle Rock. As a result, Pastor Dave and a few other local pastors coordinated a SonRise service at the Douglas County Fairgrounds for Resurrection Sunday.

In addition, Dave has led the church’s first trip to Israel, showing the members of the body of Christ how the Bible comes alive as they sing worship music on the Sea of Galilee, study the Bible in the Garden of Gethsemane, and walk the path of the Cross through Old Jerusalem. Throughout the coming years, Pastor Dave and his family hope to continue blessing the people of Calvary Castle Rock and the surrounding community.

The Lord called Pastor Bill Luebkemann to lead Calvary Chapel of Marlton in 1997. Since then, he has faithfully served as senior pastor of both the church as well as overseeing Joyful Noise Christian School, an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel of Marlton.

Calvary Chapel of Marlton is also home to the Hope FM radio ministry.  At a conference in 1995, Pastor Chuck Smith exhorted pastors to prayerfully consider radio as an effective tool for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Bill Luebkemann of Calvary Chapel of Marlton heard that message and caught the vision. While the initial application for a radio permit in 1999 was rejected by the FCC, God’s plan prevailed. After much prayer, engineering and legal work, Hope FM finally went on the air in November 2005.  In the years since then it has grown into a network of 5 full power stations and about a dozen translators serving New Jersey, Central Southeastern Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Hope from the Word, the daily teaching ministry of Calvary Chapel of Marlton, reaches millions of potential listeners with clear Bible teaching. Bill’s passion for the Lord comes through in his verse by verse Bible teaching, never compromising the Word of God.

Pastor Bill also serves as a police chaplain with the Evesham Township Police Department in New Jersey.  He is part of a support unit that is called on to accompany officers when there is difficult news to deliver. The unit also assists officers with the emotional side of their jobs.  Pastor Bill stated, “We want to be there for them. They put their lives on the line every day for us.”

Bill has been married to his wife, Lynn, for 32 years and they have three adult children.

For 41 years, Mike faithfully pastored Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego where his son, Phillip, has now transitioned into that role. This new season of ministry is providing Mike more opportunity to travel and equip the church worldwide, as well as reaching those who are hurting and lost.

Mike’s love for learning and education has helped him earn three graduate degrees, an honorary degree from Azusa Pacific Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books, including When Your World Falls Apart, drawn from his experiences as a Chaplain responding to the New York World Trade Center disaster on September 11, 2001.

He is deeply committed to serving the law enforcement community, first-responders, and their families. Mike has served as a reserve officer and currently as a chaplain for the San Diego Police Department, the Newport Beach Police Department, the American Red Cross, and the Disaster Medical Assistance Team under the Department of Health and Human Services. He also became a certified trainer through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, which has prepared him to go anywhere in the world to serve others during crisis events such as Ground Zero, Sandy Hook, Oklahoma City bombing, and even across the globe to counsel Mid-East Yazidis woman in Northern Iraq who were rescued from ISIS.

Having the heart of an evangelist, Mike has sensed God shifting his calling from his local pastoral role to a much broader global platform. His passion is to equip and strengthen pastors around the nation through encouraging, mentoring, and supporting them in their own ministries. Mike continues to speak at churches and city outreaches sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

With 6 children, 20 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, Mike finds one of the greatest honors is being the patriarch of his family. He and Sandy have been happily married for 49 years.

Pastor John Miller is the Senior Pastor of Revival Christian Fellowship in Menifee, California. He began his pastoral ministry in 1973 by leading a Bible study of six people. God eventually grew that study into Calvary Chapel of San Bernardino, a church of over 1,200 adults. After pastoring at Calvary Chapel of San Bernardino for 39 years, Pastor John became the Senior Pastor of Revival in June of 2012.

An expository Bible teacher with a passion to teach verse by verse through the Bible and a heart to mentor other pastors, Pastor John has traveled the world preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ in China, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and throughout Europe. Pastor John and his wife, Kristy, currently reside in Murrieta, California. They have four grown children and four grandchildren all living in Southern California.

Ty Orr is a lively and dynamic pastor. The approachable, humorous way he teaches puts everyone at ease and drives home the simple, yet powerful, teaching of God’s Word. Ty’s driving force is his unquenchable passion to know God, understand His Word, and love God’s people. As a musician he lives out a lifestyle of worship through the writing and production of new music for the body of Christ.

Ty grew up in a home where his family usually only went to church on Christmas and Easter. When he was in high school, as a typical teenager in the 80’s, he got into cars, music, friends, drugs and alcohol, and all the stupid things that come with them. In his freshman year of high school, he found himself becoming involved in music and theater, which led him to attend college, pursuing a degree in music education. While in college in the late 80’s, several of his Christian professors repeatedly shared Christ with Ty. He bowed his knee to Jesus Christ when he realized he was a sinner in need of a Savior because his sins had separated him from God. It was the very same day that he met his beautiful wife, Laurie, who lived in Chicago, Illinois at the time.

Soon afterward, he left college and began to serve at a small church named Calvary Chapel. He started in ministry by cleaning bathrooms, sweeping the parking lot, and serving whenever and wherever possible. In the early 90’s, he began serving in ministry full-time, becoming the youth pastor of the church, then the assistant pastor, and eventually an interim senior pastor of that fellowship. After helping transition the church to new leadership, Ty and his family began to seek where the Lord would have them go to serve Him. In 2008, the Lord graciously led him to Salmon, Idaho, where he served as the senior pastor until responding to God’s call to Watersprings church with Laurie, his wife of over 24 years, and their children Joshua, Caleb, and Benjamin.

Ty gets up every day looking forward to the adventure that is a life in service to Christ.

Al was born in Panama City, Florida in 1955. His father was a career soldier, so the family traveled extensively. In 1973, when Al was seventeen years old, the family returned from a tour in Germany and settled in Colorado Springs. Soon after, Al realized God’s call on his life and began serving in the music ministry as a bass guitarist with a Christian band called, “The Rays of Light.” It was during this time that Al met Norma, and they were married on July 19, 1975.

Al attended Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, graduating in 1977 with a degree in Biblical Studies. Several years later he visited Calvary Chapel, which had opened across the street from where he worked. After attending one service, he was hooked, rejoicing to be taught the Word of God. He couldn’t get enough, and became involved in the worship band at Calvary Chapel, as well as performing with a local contemporary Christian band. In 1980, the Lord granted Al the privilege of becoming a full-time staff member with Calvary Chapel of Colorado Springs, where he conducted Friday evening outreach concerts along with other pastoral duties assigned to him. In 1991 Al and his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and two years later he joined the staff of Calvary Chapel Albuquerque as an assistant pastor and co-worship leader.

In the spring of 1997 the Lord called Al and his family back to Colorado Springs to pastor Calvary Worship Center. Although this was a difficult decision, they knew the Lord was leading them and they have seen and experienced God’s awesome faithfulness since returning to Colorado Springs, where the fellowship has grown along with their faith. In 2006, Al earned his Master’s degree and in 2012 he earned his Doctorate degree in Ministry from Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Al and Norma are the proud parents of three children, Renee, Nathan and Reggie, as well as proud grandparents. They covet your prayers for their family and ministry as they endeavor to live a life pleasing to the Father. To God be the glory for all He has done and all He will do!

Lloyd Pulley has served as senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Old Bridge in central New Jersey since 1984. His transparent verse-by-verse teaching style encourages believers to apply rich Scriptural truths to their daily lives.

Lloyd is the author of several books, including Under His Influence: Yielding to the Work of the Holy Spirit, and Everyday Conversations: Eternal Impact, and is heard daily on the Bridging the Gap radio program. Under his leadership, the ministry of Calvary Old Bridge has expanded to include the thriving Calvary Christian School and the growing Bridge Christian Radio network, which is now broadcasting from the heart of New York City.

Pastor Lloyd and his wife Karen have two children, three grandchildren, and two foster grandchildren.

As a child (in 1974) John’s family began attending Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, where he attended elementary school, junior high and Calvary Chapel High School. Following graduation, he went on staff at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa as a janitor. During this time he met his wife, Michelle, an elementary school teacher at Calvary.

After four years on staff serving the children’s and high school ministries and in worship, John joined the staff at Calvary Chapel Vista, Calif.

In 1997, the Randalls set out on a venture of faith to the west coast of Florida to plant their first church—Calvary Chapel of Brandon. After 10 years of ministry in Florida, the Lord called the Randalls back to Southern California where John currently pastors at Calvary South OC. Pastor John has been serving in pastoral ministry for over 20 years and is the featured speaker on the Bible teaching radio program “A Daily Walk.” He is known for his clear and relatable presentation of the Scriptures. John and his wife Michelle have four children.

Pastor Mike’s desire is to respond to God’s call to clearly teach and apply the Word of God to our daily lives. He emphasizes the teaching of the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit within a contemporary atmosphere, and this emphasis has been shown to be life changing to many.

Pastor David was born on August 23, 1950 and grew up during the tumultuous 60s. Considering himself a by-product of the “love” generation and a fringe member of the hippie movement, David spent more than five years involved in drug and alcohol abuse in the late sixties. In early 1970, at the age of 20, David nearly overdosed on a combination of wine and barbiturates. When he awoke, he was paralyzed and lying on his back in a drug stupor. It was at this time that David called out to God to spare his life.

“When I look back at those years it seems like another lifetime,” says Pastor David. “That’s why today, I am actively involved in the community and trying to reach people where they are at. This world is full of troubled, tired, and hurt people. God loves them and so do I. That’s what this ministry is all about. We want people to see that God is in the business of changing lives.”

God certainly changed David’s life. After attending a Maranatha! concert David gave his heart to Jesus Christ in December of 1970. Shortly after, he went into the Army, spending 21 months of active duty with the 82nd Airborne Division. David was discharged from the Army and began pursuing an education in theology. He attended Biola College and soon began to teach home Bible studies. David was ordained in 1979 and worked full time for a small church in Claremont, CA before beginning a new church in July of 1981 called Calvary Ontario. In January of 1982 he received a letter from Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa welcoming the church as a Calvary Chapel affiliate. As the church continued to grow, the group moved from homes to a rented church to school auditoriums. Finally, over 12 acres of land was purchased in Chino, CA in 1992. This would become the home of Calvary Chapel Chino Valley.

David Rosales currently pastors over 6,000 members, teaching Bible studies throughout the week, and is supported in ministry by his wife Marie. They have four grown children and eight grandchildren. Pastor David’s radio ministry, A Sure Foundation, is broadcast daily throughout the nation, extending his teaching ministry beyond the Inland Empire. He also has a podcast with current Bible studies and goes live on his Facebook page weekly to discuss various topics of ministry and current events. He has traveled to countries across the world, evangelizing and teaching the Bible in a simple verse-by-verse style.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior on 1/16/77. In 1980 I married my wife Dee. We have three children. My call to ministry came in 1983. I am a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (1983-1986). Pastored in Church of the Nazarene from 1986-93. Planted Calvary Chapel of Hope in 1993 and affiliated with Calvary Chapel. I continue to pastor this church to the present.

Bill Stonebraker was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but spent most of his childhood in California. Married in 1965, he and his wife, Danita, have three children. The Stonebraker’s came to Hawaii in the late sixties; they currently reside in Honolulu. Early on, Bill opened his own business making surf boards, and his name came to be well-known within the local surfing community.

While living in Sunset Beach, Hawaii, Bill made a life-changing commitment to Jesus Christ, and began hosting and teaching Bible studies in his home. His ministry was directly influenced by Pastor Chuck Smith, of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, California. Finally in 1972 he began the North Shore Christian Fellowship. Three years later he received his ordination from the Maranatha! Evangelical Association of Calvary Chapel, following the completion of their Shepherd School (for pastoral training). He has also attended Fuller Theological Seminary.

Then in 1982, Bill turned NSCF over to his assistant pastor, Mike Stangel, and together with a small group of people began Calvary Chapel of Honolulu. The church met over the years at various locations before finally purchasing the former Empress Theater in 1988. The church congregation is now over 1,500.

In 1986 the church purchased KIFH radio, now broadcasting as KLHT Christian Radio at 1040 AM.

Bill’s teaching can be heard weekdays on the “As We Gather” radio program, broadcast in Hawaii over KLHT Radio, and nationwide over the Calvary Satellite Network.

Since the founding of Calvary Chapel of Honolulu, six other churches have begun, directly or strongly influenced by Bill Stonebraker’s ministry: Calvary Chapel of the Waianae Coast (1988); Calvary Chapel Windward (1989); Calvary Chapel Central Oahu (1990); Calvary Chapel Kauai (1990); Calvary Chapel West Oahu (1993); and Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor (1994). The church also has ongoing missions work in the Philippines; and has done short term missions work in Fiji, Mexico, Nepal, India, Ethiopia, Japan, Poland, Russia, Tahiti, Vanuatu and Hungary.

Pastor Ed Taylor grew up in Southern California. Having responded to the gospel in 1991 at Calvary Chapel Downey, he spent eight years learning, growing, and serving there. In July of 1999, sensing the call of God, Ed and his family moved to the Denver area hoping to be used by God. In December 1999, Calvary Aurora began Sunday services and today impacts the community for Jesus in wonderful ways.

Pastor Ed’s heart is to be transparent from the pulpit for he truly desires that everyone, from all walks of life, will embrace Jesus and grow in His grace. Ed and his wife, Marie, have been married for over 27 years and have three children – of which their oldest son, Eddie, went to be with the Lord in 2013. Ed and Marie also have a precious grandson, Eddie’s son, Levi.
