Terry Gray planted Calvary Chapel Sun City in El Paso, Texas in October 1996 and has served as Senior Pastor there ever since. He received his ministerial training at Calvary of Albuquerque’s School of Ministry and the Shepherd’s School, along with studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, and worked as an electrical engineer while getting the church off the ground. What began as a small Wednesday night Bible study grew into a congregation that weathered a challenging four-year season meeting in a tent before settling into a permanent home. Terry and his wife Kim, who founded the church’s Flourish women’s ministry, have three adult children — Dylan, Connor, and Lindsay. He has been the featured speaker on the Summons Radio program, heard daily in the El Paso/Las Cruces area, since January 2002.
